Apple Inc.
Sunnyvale, California, United States Operations and Supply Chain
Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, great ideas have a way of becoming great products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. Bring passion and dedication to your job and there's no telling what you could accomplish. Worldwide Supply Chain is looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager to join their team in leading and driving global transformational initiatives that increase logistics scale, technical/engineering capabilities, value added services and reduce cost within Apple’s supply chain.
Description The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of multi-function operational processes within Logistics, Operations, Analytics, FATP, and Reverse Logistics: a strategic thinker who can ‘connect the dots’ of the bigger picture, as well as being comfortable in the details of the deliverables. Self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a global, fast-paced, often ambiguous environment with the ability of working with multiple cross functional teams. A bias for action with track record for delivering on key strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
Analyzing and evaluating current business trends, process changes to identify opportunities to improve, develop a strategy, and globally lead and own cross functional programs across logistics, engineering and data foundation program(s).
Present comprehensive projects opportunity proposals to senior and executive leadership based on investigations and analysis.
Ability to maintain, develop relationships within key projects and meet multiple parallel critical timelines.
Develop and maintain key project governance documentation to ensure the proper amount of structure is applied to enable project success.
Facilitate initial project related pilots, roll-outs, and business heads up (BHU).
Provide timely updates and elevate critical risks to project, management, and senior executive teams.
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS in Supply Chain, Logistics, Analytics or related field with 12+ years professional experience in data, analysis, modeling and/or program management.
Strong program manager with analytical, process engineering, modeling and leadership skills.
Ability to quickly understand business processes and drivers.
Ability to lead and manage complex projects without a direct reporting structure across multiple logistics and engineering domains.
A desire to operate hands on in the role.
Excellent verbal, analytical, written, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Comfort and demonstrated ability to work autonomously, operating and driving efforts without solid line responsibility.
Strong work ethic with a high degree of flexibility.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in supply chain: ex. retail, consulting, online fulfillment and/or operations.
Process Re-engineering, EPM, Product Operations, DS or Ops Finance experience a plus.
