What You Will Be Doing
Analyzing and summarizing legal documents
Researching legal matters and people, businesses, and worksites
Evaluating cases and strategically developing defenses
Conducting client meetings and recommending strategies
Investigating facts, planning, preparing and conducting depositions
Preparing and arguing motions
Conducting hearings and mediations
Preparing witnesses and corporate representatives
Briefing at trial and appellate courts
Thinking analytically
What You Need to Bring
Actively licensed and in good standing with the State of Georgia
Critical thinking and research skills
Strong writing, analytical, and communications skills with superior attention to detail
1‑5 years’ experience in defense litigation; solid insurance defense experience with professional liability and/or coverage litigation experience a plus
Ability to thrive in a high‑paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling priorities, and adhering to strict deadlines
Must be a self‑starter who can handle multiple projects with competing priorities and understand the importance of deadlines
Client‑focused mentality
Take initiative and welcome challenges
Ability to work flexibly and independently within a strong team
Ability to review and interpret financial records is a plus
What You Will Receive
Salary range of $125,000.00 to $150,000.00 based on experience, including quarterly bonus potential, year‑end bonuses and referral incentives
Hybrid in Atlanta work arrangement
