You will serve as a trusted resource for customers, helping them understand their options and guiding them through the process of selecting appropriate coverage and financial solutions. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Support
Greet and assist clients in a professional and friendly manner.
Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
Schedule appointments and follow up with clients to ensure their needs are met.
Insurance & Financial Product Knowledge
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of State Farm insurance products, including auto, home, life, health, and commercial insurance.
Understand financial services offerings such as retirement planning, annuities, and mutual funds.
Assist clients in identifying suitable insurance and financial products based on their goals and circumstances.
Policy Processing & Administration
Prepare and process insurance applications, endorsements, renewals, and claims documentation accurately and timely.
Maintain client records and update policy information using State Farm systems.
Coordinate with underwriters, claims adjusters, and other internal departments as necessary.
Sales Support & Growth
Support the agencys sales goals by identifying opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell products.
Assist with marketing activities, including community outreach and client appreciation events.
Help generate and qualify leads through referrals and networking efforts.
Compliance & Confidentiality
Adhere to all State Farm policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive client information.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning agency management software.
Ability to obtain necessary State insurance licenses within a specified time frame.
