Compensation:

$85,000 base (based on current licensure) + 15% performance bonus

Slater, Iowa

Role Overview The Associate Financial Advisor is a full-time, client-facing position within a private wealth management team. This role provides exposure to financial planning and client relationship management while supporting senior advisors in delivering a seamless and high-quality client experience. The position offers a clear growth trajectory toward becoming a Lead Advisor, with structured professional development milestones and licensing goals.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in client meetings (in-person, virtual, and via email) and ensure follow-up actions are completed.

Take detailed meeting notes, conduct debriefs, and manage client follow-through to maintain a consistent client experience.

Maintain workflow and data integrity within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

Support senior advisors by creating and maintaining comprehensive financial plans.

Prepare materials and review client information in advance of meetings.

Serve as a secondary relationship manager for assigned clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

1–2 years of experience in financial services preferred.

Life & Health Insurance License required within 6 months of employment.

Series 7 & 63 Licenses required within 12 months of employment.

CFP certification encouraged by the end of year two.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Highly motivated, growth-oriented, and passionate about serving clients.

Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with exceptional attention to detail.

High integrity and commitment to putting client needs first.
