Labor & Employment Associate Attorney
$150,000 – $215,000 per year.
Principle Recruiting is working directly with a sophisticated mid‑size boutique law firm seeking a mid‑level Labor & Employment Associate Attorney for their New York City office.
Responsibilities
1800 billable hours.
Opportunity to be entrepreneurial with strong business development support.
Competitive Compensation – $150k–$215k base, based on experience.
Competitive Benefits, including automatic and fully vested firm contributions to 401k.
Ability to work with multiple partners.
Qualifications
3+ years of strong labor & employment experience at a firm, including representing management‑side employers in employment litigation and counseling matters; defending discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage‑and‑hour claims; advising on day‑to‑day employment law compliance and employee relations issues; drafting and updating employee handbooks and workplace policies; preparing employment and separation agreements; and supporting internal investigations and risk management initiatives.
