Kalman & Company is seeking a highly motivated, performance-driven individual with strong business and cost analysis experience to work closely with our Government client in Orlando, FL. This is an on-site position. This person needs to be based in the local area. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills, and the capability to lead, or principally contribute to, several of the largest and most significant studies in Kalman's portfolio. Financial management, program management, and data science experience are also preferred.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage program office analysis activities
Lead, develop, update, and apply mathematical and logical methodologies for estimating program, business system, or component costs
Lead, develop, update, manipulate, and maintain cost and affordability models
Lead efforts in collecting, normalizing, and analyzing complex data
Build and defend budget requirements
Forecast future funding needs
Evaluate contracting strategy and courses of action
Conduct planning for acquisition of capabilities
Identify sustainment cost impacts of acquisition decisions
Identify interface maintenance funding requirements for all affected platforms/systems
Manage solution delivery to a baselined schedule
Provide a basis and supporting materials for briefings to management at the executive and oversight levels for all affected program/project funding requirements
Work autonomously and as part of a team to meet organizational and project goals
Have a strong understanding of the Department of Navy (DoN) Acquisition process
Lead in the preparation of briefing materials and other communications packages presenting the results of analysis
Communicate and work with diverse organizations and representatives for data collection, analysis, and results presentation
Provide thought leadership clearly demonstrating an understanding of the customer mission and innovative ideas to address business challenges of the customer

Required Education/Qualifications
BA/BS in Economics, Finance, or Mathematics
US Citizenship is required
Ability to obtain a government‑issued clearance
5+ years of DoD cost estimating experience
Knowledge of ACE IT Software
Certified Cost Estimator / Analyst (CCEA)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to lead detail‑oriented tasks and multi‑task under minimal supervision
Experience presenting analytical results to senior leaders/stakeholders
Excellent data gathering and analytical skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
