Job Overview
Backfill for REQ 2838. 3‑month contract. Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm (flexibility allowed) with hybrid in‑office/remote work.
This role is 70 % accounting support and 30 % payroll processing.
Qualifications
BS Accounting Degree - required (do not submit candidates without an accounting degree)
General Ledger – 1 year required
Account Reconciliations – 1 year required
Journal Entries – 1 year required
Responsibilities
Process payroll for employees accurately and on time using UKG HRIS on a bi‑weekly cadence.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Review and verify time‑keeping records for accuracy for both exempt and non‑exempt employees.
Calculate and process adjustments, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll‑related payments.
Generate payroll reports as needed for management and regulatory purposes, including benefit deductions, 401(k), HSA/FSA.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate record‑keeping and reporting.
Assist with payroll‑related projects and initiatives as needed.
