Claims Adjuster Trainee Progressive Casualty Insurance Company – Federal Way, WA, United States

Overview Apply today to help customers recover after an accident and learn to adjust claims over the phone, managing a heavy case load efficiently while receiving training on property damage and insurance contracts.

This hybrid role: two in-office days selected by local leadership, with the remaining days remote for 12 months, after which in-office demands may vary.

Candidates must reside within 30 miles of the Federal Way office.

Responsibilities (upon completion of training)

Determine coverage

Determine liability (who is at fault)

Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses

Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs

Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers to resolve claims

Must-Have Qualifications

Three years of work experience

Associate’s degree and two years work experience

Bachelor’s degree

Schedule Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with rotating shift 9 am to 6 pm

Compensation

$28.61 - $30.53 per hour

Gainshare annual cash incentive up to 16% of eligible earnings based on company performance
