Senior Fixed Asset Accountant

Executive Recruiter - Accounting and Finance Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Prepare and record fixed asset journal entries, including additions, depreciation, and disposals

Reconcile fixed asset subledger to the general ledger and maintain fixed asset rollforward schedules

Maintain and manage general ledger accounts, including reconciliations and discrepancy resolution

Support month-end and year-end close processes

Prepare and analyze monthly budget-to-actual variance reports by property and department

Research and respond to monthly P&L inquiries across 40+ properties

Support internal and external audits, including fixed asset and tax-related requests

Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies

Maintain accounting procedures and assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

3+ years of relevant accounting experience

Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger, and fixed asset accounting

Plusses

Hospitality industry experience

Experience with NetSuite
