Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Technical Sales representative in the Leasing Department, located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The role involves managing sales operations, securing leasing contracts, building and maintaining customer relationships, and delivering product presentations with technical expertise. Additional responsibilities include providing training to clients on product use, maintaining customer satisfaction through effective communication, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure the seamless execution of sales processes. Some work-from-home flexibility is available.
Base starting at $68K+ commission, estimate $150K to $350k.
Qualifications
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively interact with clients and address their needs
one-pagers, and bid boilerplates; maintain proposal libraries (spec language, data sheets, drawings links); manage photo/video and CAD/diagram assets.Partner on list pricing guidance, discount grids, and value-based
pricing narratives; standardize RFI/RFP responses and ensure technical compliance.
Plan and execute integrated campaigns (email, LinkedIn, industry media,
webinars) to hit MQL/SQL goals; manage IEEE T&D and Distributech (booth, abstracts, lead capture, nurture); launch promotions with ROI tracking
Proven Sales and Sales Management experience, including the ability to meet or exceed targets
Define utility/industrial segments and ICPs; craft value proposition for transformers, battery, HV breakers, GIS/AIS, protection & control, and substation packages; maintaincompetitive battlecards and win–loss insights.
Experience in providing Training and support to clients and team members
Ability to understand and explain technical concepts related to electrical equipment and leasing services
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
Experience in the electrical equipment industry or similar technical sales field is a plus
