Responsibilities
Publish proprietary equity research content with stock recommendations (Buy, Hold, Sell) to institutional buy‑side clients.
Conduct due diligence and provide industry expertise for capital markets equity transactions; initiate C‑suite corporate access resources to institutional equity clients.
Initiate non‑deal roadshows, conferences, field trips, bus tours, and conference calls with C‑level corporate clients.
Conduct independent industry assessments and company‑specific research reports.
Engage with corporate client relationships at the highest C‑Level (CEO, President, COO, CFO, Director of Strategy, etc).
Work closely with senior analyst and team in the research production process and with supervisory analysts during publication.
Build market share forecasts, revenue, EPS, and cash flow forecasts at the company level.
Perform financial and valuation analyses; formulate investment ideas; write draft research commentary.
Leverage research product into the institutional client base, collaborating with Capital Markets, sales, and trading as needed.
Required Qualifications
BA/BS degree
Licenses: SIE, Series 7 (or Series 7 for those licensed prior to October 2019), Series 63, Series 87, and either Series 86 or a FINRA waiver for those who have completed CFA II.
Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
Mastery of financial and accounting concepts to facilitate the creation of in‑depth financial models.
Advanced written and oral communication skills and teaming ability.
Strong analytical and sales skills.
Proven ability to work well in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Working toward CFA designation.
4+ years of related work experience.
The annual base salary for this position in New York is $140,000.
