Role Description Responsible for managing the performance of the Finance team and overseeing the collection and integrity of the company’s financial information. Participate in strategic initiatives and provide financial reporting for effective decision making to drive profitability and growth. Dual site responsibilities. Responsible to comply with ISO 13485 Standards. Employee must comply with company quality standards and guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise Finance department with defined goals and career development.
Oversee General Accounting functions.
Manage cost accounting, variance analysis, cost reduction programs.
Lead month‑end closing activities, generate financial statements and create financial presentations with KPI’s.
Lead monthly forecasts and annual budget processes.
Collaborate with operations teams to identify gaps in business performance and apply financial expertise to present analysis for management understanding and actions.
Participate actively in forums with senior leaders providing financial direction to support decision making processes.
Complete external audits and governmental reporting requirements.
This position has manager responsibilities for Cost Accountant, Jr. Accountant and Accounting Clerk. This position also needs to interact and communicate effectively and on time, with other employees, management and customers to inform matters of importance and to initiate or recommend appropriate action.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with at least 8 years of relevant experience as a Manager in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy>
Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and influence teams to exceed expectations.
Able to deliver customer presentation, discuss professionally quotes and proposal with customers.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish and collaborative skills.
Maintains objectivity and independence in actions which are in the best interest of the corporation.
