Technical Systems Analyst – Corporate Systems
The Technical Systems Analyst on the Corporate Systems team bridges business needs and technology solutions. This role is responsible for translating business requests into clear, actionable technical requirements. The analyst will also administer corporate applications, write code to support custom applications, and engage in the data environment to support reporting and analytics. The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing multiple hats in a technical environment, takes initiative when problems lack a clearly defined path, and is confident communicating with both technical and business stakeholders. Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and refine business requirements Interpret business requirements and work with team and architects to design a solution Support custom-built applications, third party vended applications and related integration protocols, including joining the on-call rotation with the current team Ensure projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve system issues Plan, execute and develop new features for custom business software and integration with vended solutions Leverage and adopt AI-enabled tools and practices to enhance application administration, automate workflows, and drive continuous improvements in efficiency, reliability, and innovation across vended platforms Work collaboratively with team members in all aspects of the SDLC Coordinate and support small to mid-sized initiatives, working with cross-functional technical and business partners Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in CS or MIS or equivalent experience At least 5 years of technology experience with a proven track record of translating business needs into technology requirements Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and focus on quality Highly developed problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to efficiently articulate ideas, pass along information and lead requirements gathering sessions to a technical and non-technical business audience A strong and proactive work ethic and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting demanding deadlines Ability to resolve support requests that originate from both automated notifications and direct communication from the business Finance industry is a plus Workday system knowledge preferred Technical Skills
Workday configuration and integrations Maintenance of existing third party and custom developed applications Scripting languages preferred (Python, PowerShell) SQL experience preferred (MS SQL Server, Snowflake) Active Batch or other job scheduling system preferred SCRUM and agile methodologies Artisan Partners Limited Partnership is an equal opportunity employer.
