Our boutique firm in downtown Greenville is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to assume full responsibility for the firm’s Family Law Division.
This is an opportunity for an attorney who practices independently and is ready to serve as the firm’s lead Family Law Attorney, while working within an established leadership structure. The position includes an immediate, established family law caseload with consistent client flow already in place.
The ideal candidate is confident handling divorce, custody, support, and contested matters; comfortable appearing regularly in Family Court; and able to manage cases from intake to resolution with minimal supervision. While collaboration and support are available, this role is not entry‑level.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the firm’s family law matters, including divorce, custody, and support
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements
Appear in Family Court for hearings, mediations, and trials
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
Qualifications
Prior experience practicing family law (2 years minimum)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfort handling contested matters and court appearances
Active South Carolina Bar admission
