Global Privacy & Cybersecurity Associate Attorney
to join its internationally recognized
Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice Group
in
New York . This is an outstanding opportunity for an associate to work on complex, high-profile matters involving cutting-edge privacy regulations and data security challenges for clients across industries.
Candidate Profile
JD
from a
top-tier law school
with a
strong academic record
Active Bar Admission in New York , in good standing, or eligibility to obtain admission within one year of employment
2–3 years
of substantive experience (class of 2022 – class of 2021) in
privacy and cybersecurity law
Experience advising on
data breach response ,
privacy compliance frameworks
( domestic
and
international ), and
regulatory investigations
Familiarity with
U.S. and global privacy frameworks
(e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA) and
incident response protocols
Prior experience at a
large law firm
of comparable rank
Demonstrated enthusiasm
for privacy, cybersecurity, and emerging technology issues
Key Skills: Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills; proactive client service mindset; and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on
compliance
with
U.S.
and
international privacy
and
data protection laws , including the
GDPR ,
CCPA/CPRA , and other evolving frameworks
Assist with
incident response
and
breach preparedness , including counseling on
regulatory notification obligations
and managing
cross-border data breach investigations
Represent clients in
privacy - and
cybersecurity -related
regulatory investigations
and
enforcement actions
Draft and negotiate
privacy and data security
provisions
in commercial agreements and corporate transactions
Support clients on privacy-related aspects of
corporate policies ,
procedures , and
risk management
strategies
Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to provide integrated advice on technology, regulatory, and litigation matters

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Compensation:
Annual base salary is expected to range from
$260,000 – $310,000 , depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors
Eligibility for discretionary
bonuses
Comprehensive Benefits:
