Tableau Developer
Location & Duration Linthicum Heights, Maryland (Onsite Full Time) – 6 Months Contract

Job Overview IPS Technology Services is seeking a Tableau Developer to support its Engineering and Sciences organization at the Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) in Linthicum MD. The role focuses on building and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports that support data‑driven decisions in a manufacturing and semiconductor environment.
The selected candidate must be comfortable working onsite full‑time and collaborating with business users, IT teams and data engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports
Prepare and transform raw data for Tableau use
Create dimensions, measures and calculated fields
Connect Tableau to various data sources and databases
Perform data modeling and validation
Publish dashboards and data sources to Tableau Server
Refresh and monitor Tableau extracts
Troubleshoot data performance and dashboard issues
Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs
Provide baseline (Tier‑1) support to Tableau users
Coordinate dashboard releases and migrations to production
Required Skills
Strong experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
Solid SQL skills for data extraction and analysis
Understanding of data modeling and visualization best practices
Ability to work with business users and technical teams
Comfortable supporting users in a manufacturing environment
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
24 years of hands‑on Tableau development experience
