The Workday Data Specialist supports a Workday implementation by preparing, loading, validating, and reconciling HR and payroll data across multiple conversion cycles. This role partners closely with functional and technical leads to ensure accurate data migration, testing readiness, and successful cutover.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cleanse, and normalize legacy HR and payroll data for Workday conversion
Build, populate, and execute Workday EIB and CSV load templates
Perform data loads across multiple mock and production cycles
Validate data accuracy using Workday reports, reconciliations, and audit controls
Troubleshoot and resolve load errors and data inconsistencies
Document data issues, mapping logic, and resolution steps
Support end‑to‑end testing, parallel payroll validation, and cutover readiness
Required Qualifications
3+ years of Workday data conversion or implementation support experience
Strong hands‑on experience building and executing Workday EIBs
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation, formulas)
Experience working with HR, payroll, benefits, and compensation data domains
Detail‑oriented with strong documentation and reconciliation skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Workday HCM or Payroll implementations
Familiarity with parallel payroll testing and audit controls
Experience supporting multi‑entity or high‑volume data environments
