Job Summary Provides customer service and support for escalated deposit account inquiries, reviews external legal documents, re‑executes internal documentation for error resolution, audits deposit account opening documentation, and maintains strict standards of confidentiality. Must have a high degree of knowledge regarding all deposit products and regulations.

Essential Functions

Supports internal customer escalated inquiries via phone, service events, and email regarding complex deposit accounts and policies.

Handles deposit accounts with deceased owners, including coding, beneficiary notification, and closure/payout.

Completes transactions on tax‑advantaged accounts, opens Beneficiary IRAs, processes outgoing IRA transfers, and handles HSA contributions.

Assists with department functions: new account/maintenance auditing, document processing, address corrections, and exception reporting.

Ensures accurate tax reporting on deposit accounts, reviewing reports and updating the core system.

Stays informed of rules and regulations for all deposit products.

Resolves account/document errors, maintaining regulatory timeframes and minimizing risk.

Uses internal software programs and product applications to meet service levels.

Provides backup assistance as needed on multiple functions and special projects.

Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent, and 2+ years of related job experience required. Previous banking experience required; deposit operations, customer service, or CD/IRA experience is a plus.

Required Skills and Knowledge

Ability to follow procedures accurately and efficiently.

Strong customer service orientation.

Capability to manage multiple high‑priority tasks.

Clear problem explanation and professional/positive interaction.

Familiarity with Reg D, Reg E, and Beneficial Ownership guidelines.

Required Licenses and/or Certifications None.

Physical Demands Extended time viewing a computer, sitting, standing, walking; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. Performance with or without reasonable accommodation.

Working Conditions Normal office conditions.
