Professional Recruiter at Insight Global *There are multiple openings at all different levels from entry Network Administrators to Senior Network Engineers. These positions are based out of San Antonio, TX or Montgomery, AL. It is required that you have at least a Secret clearance or higher (Top Secret, TS/SCI).

Required Skills & Experience

Secret clearance or higher

5+ years experience with: installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches.

Understanding/experience with Enterprise network architectures and configurations is highly desired.

High school diploma or equivalent

IAT-II certification

CCNA certification

Job Description for Network Administrators

Insight Global is looking for Network Administrators for a government contract. These individuals will be working on a military base doing all network and system support for all of the Air Force.

Analyzes and simulates network traffic to aide in problem resolution or to test updated configurations in virtual or physical lab environments.

Monitors system utilization and circuit bandwidth then reports anomalies to Government team leads.

Escalate complex network issues to Senior Network Administrators.

Develop, execute, modify or remove scripts to assist in automation of tasks, as possible.

Review and document all workload activities per incident or change request to eliminate re‑work or for auditing/investigation purposes.

Neatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation or repair.

Job Description for Network Engineers

10+ years' experience with: installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches.

Analyzes and simulates network traffic to aide in problem resolution or to test updated configurations in virtual or physical lab environments.

Monitors system utilization and circuit bandwidth then reports anomalies to Government team leads.

Design, implement, and troubleshoot the most complex Enterprise network solutions and/or issues.

Develop, execute, modify or remove scripts to assist in automation of tasks, as possible.

Review and document all workload activities per incident or change request to eliminate re‑work or for auditing/investigation purposes.
