R0231786 System Administrator Responsibilities
As a systems administrator on our project, you’ll directly engage our customers at varying levels of management, providing workstation and network support, as well as insight into improving the infrastructure by monitoring system performance, updating and patching critical systems, and providing configuration management. You’ll ensure the current infrastructure is secure, functional, and available by using Event Viewer or other Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) to address errors, warnings, and unusual activity. 5+ years of experience in Windows, Linux, or Network Administration Knowledge of Active Directory, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy Management Knowledge of core switching and routing concepts Ability to monitor and troubleshoot network and system performance, availability, and security using tools such as Event Viewer, Performance Monitor, Splunk, or SolarWinds Ability to work independently with minimum supervision TS/SCI clearance HS diploma or GED IAT Level II Certification Microsoft, Linux, Cloud, or Cisco Computing Environment Certification Nice If You Have
Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for administration, automation, and reporting Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure Ability to apply updates, patches, and configuration changes in compliance with IT policies and change management processes Ability to collaborate with security teams to ensure systems meet compliance and vulnerability remediation requirements Ability to document processes, configurations, and scripts to support operational transparency and knowledge sharing Bachelor’s degree in IT or Cyber field IAT Level III Certification Clearance
