Vesta, Inc. is seeking an experiencedAccounting Operations Specialistto support the accurate processing, reconciliation, and reporting of financial transactions across the organization. This role is essential to maintaining compliance, supporting audits, and ensuring strong financial controls. The position reports to the Finance Director and works closely with regional and cross-functional teams.
Full-Time: Monday to Friday 8 - 4:30pm, with flexibility as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Processaccounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoices, deposits, and vendor inquiries Completemonthly bank and credit card reconciliationsin Microsoft Business Central Processjournal entries, accruals, and reallocations Manage organizationalcredit card transactions and expense allocations Review financial and Power BI reports, identify discrepancies, and correct errors SupportHUD, SSA, IRS, and state compliance requirements, including annual 1099 processing Assist with internal and external audits Provide professional customer service and respond to internal and external inquiries Participate in finance meetings, trainings, and ongoing compliance activities Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred) 3–5 years of accounting operations experience Strong working knowledge ofAP, AR, and reconciliations Knowledge ofGAAPand IRS reporting requirements (including 1099s) Advanced proficiency inMicrosoft Business Central, Power BI, and Excel Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively across teams Valid driver’s license, clear driving record, and reliable transportation Background check and drug screening required. Other Compensation: Employees are eligible for bonuses (variable, depending on company and individual performance) and paid training. - PTO: New employees can accrue up to 96 hours of PTO in the first year (pro-rated based on start date and hours worked). Employees can accrue up to 40 hours of sick leave per calendar year (pro-rated based on start date and hours worked). - Holidays: Full-Time employees receive 8 paid holidays per year. - Retirement: 403(b) plan participation available at hire. Employer matching after 1000 hours of service.
