We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations, and supporting our employees with payroll‑related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
Process and manage bi‑weekly and monthly payroll cycles for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
Review timesheets and other payroll input data to detect and resolve payroll discrepancies.
Run and reconcile payroll reports and audits.
Maintain and update employee payroll records with confidentiality and precision.
Respond to employee paycheck questions and issues in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
Ensure all payroll transactions are properly documented and saved for auditing and compliance purposes.
Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to resolve discrepancies and support cross‑functional initiatives.
Stay updated on changes to federal, state, and local payroll regulations and ensure organizational compliance.
Assist with year‑end payroll processes, including W‑2 and other tax statement preparation.
Identify needed additions, updates and edits to payroll processing guide and user quick reference guides and make required modifications.
Employment verification processing support.
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in payroll administration or a similar role.
Solid understanding of payroll practices, labor laws, and tax regulations.
Proficiency with HRIS and Payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
