A recent college graduate or early‑career professional can build a foundation in Human Resources in the entry‑level
Human Resources Coordinator
role. This position provides critical administrative and coordination support across employee onboarding, benefits administration, and leave management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience.
Essential Responsibilities Onboarding & Employee Records
Coordinate end‑to‑end onboarding activities for new hires, including offer documentation, I‑9 processing, and new hire orientation scheduling.
Prepare and maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and personnel files.
Partner with Payroll for any requested information.
Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Support new employees by answering basic HR questions and directing inquiries appropriately.
Benefits Administration Support
Assist with employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, etc.).
Serve as a point of contact for basic benefits‑related questions and escalates complex issues as needed.
Maintain accurate benefit records and assist with audits and reconciliations.
Leave Management Support
Track employee leaves of absence, including medical, family, and other statutory or company‑approved leaves in partnership with our leave vendor.
Assist with leave documentation, status tracking, and coordination with payroll and benefit providers.
Maintain accurate and confidential leave records in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
Provide administrative support related to FMLA, state leave programs, and company leave policies.
HR Administration & Compliance
Maintain confidentiality of employee data and HR matters at all times.
Assist with HR reporting, data audits, and process documentation.
Support HR team with administrative tasks, projects, and process improvements.
Ensure HR records and processes align with internal policies and legal requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred (Not Required)
Internship or coursework related to Human Resources or administrative work.
Familiarity with HRIS systems or payroll/benefits platforms.
Basic understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
