Our client, a leader in critical infrastructure and data center operations, is seeking a Data Center Critical Environment Trainer to join their Workforce Development Department supporting technical training and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to safety.

Data Center Critical Environment Trainer
Location:
REMOTE (USA)
Pay Range:
$37-40/HR
Job Responsibilities
Lead hands‑on training sessions covering critical systems such as electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire suppression, controls, and security protocols.
Develop, update, and organize training materials and lesson plans to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
Conduct competency evaluations and document trainee progress against safety and operational standards.
Instruct on monitoring systems, alarm handling, and incident response protocols to prepare trainees for real‑world scenarios.
Provide ongoing mentorship and foster collaboration among trainees to promote continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a critical environment role such as Data Center Technician, Facilities Technician, Electrical or Mechanical Engineer.
Expertise in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and fire suppression systems within mission‑critical environments.
Strong understanding of safety protocols, incident response, and escalation procedures.
Proven ability to train and mentor entry‑level or mid‑level technicians effectively.
Proficiency with CMMS, telemetry/monitoring systems, and ticketing systems used in facility operations.
