Description Our firm seeks an associate attorney for our rapidly growing practice. Our main areas of practice include general civil litigation, commercial litigation, real property disputes, construction law, trust and estates litigation, probates, personal injury, and family law. However, there will be opportunities in wide-ranging, varied areas of law, e.g., our associates have briefed appeals for the New Mexico Court of Appeals, represented clients in administrative hearings before state regulatory boards, and negotiated commercial and real‑estate contracts.
Associates will receive mentorship and one‑on‑one training with our managing partner, mentorship and one‑on‑one training with our more experienced associate attorney(s), one‑on‑one training with experienced litigators and mentors outside of the firm, and opportunities for court appearances throughout their employment.

Qualifications Required Work Experience None (0‑1 year)
Required Education and Licenses
J.D. from an ABA Accredited Law School
Admission to the New Mexico State Bar

Experience as a Practicing Attorney or a Judicial Clerkship
Law School Clinic Experience
Moot Court
Fluency in Spanish
Admission to the Texas State Bar
Job Type Full‑time
Schedule Monday through Friday 8am – 6pm OR 9am – 7pm
Work Location
In Person only (remote or hybrid not offered) at 2990 N. Main St., Ste 2D, Las Cruces, NM 88001
Must relocate to Las Cruces OR reliably commute to Las Cruces daily
Salary $110,000 per year
Benefits Package
Health insurance stipend of $500 per month
Retirement stipend of $300 per month
(Please note that the stipends can be used for their intended purposes or can be used as additional salary by the associate attorney.)
Billable Hour Requirements 1700 realized billable hours per year
Bonus Scaled bonus based upon additional realized billable hours above the billable‑hour requirement
Relocation Expenses Available upon request and based upon need
