What You Do.
Manage assignments using applied methodology including SAFe Agile and/or PMI-based waterfall delivery frameworks
Facilitate agile framework meetings for the scrum team, all required ceremonies: backlog refinement, iteration planning, daily stand‑up (DSU), iteration review, and iteration retrospective ensuring they are productive and timeboxed
Assist the team in preparation for Agile Release Train activities, including PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt
Proactively manage scope, schedule, cost, and quality of assigned teams
Create or assist in team communication and reporting including Sprint Report, Burndown Chart, Burnup Chart, Epic Report, Epic Burndown, Velocity Chart, Version Report, Cumulative Flow Diagram
Remove impediments and/or guide the team to remove them; escalate when appropriate
Help the Product Owner to manage the backlog and guide the team while facilitating a healthy team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope
Support the team's framework including reinforcement of built‑in quality and the team working agreements
Facilitate team discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution, to maintain flow and complete quality work
Work collaboratively and build trust with other teams and departments to improve teams' outcomes
Monitor supplier deliverables and proactively escalate concerns
Foster transparency and visibility, ensuring that the team's progress, obstacles, and successes are highly visible to the team and other stakeholders
Help build a high‑performing team; foster a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised and solved
Inspire the team's results and commitments in alignment with Sargento Family culture
Analyze risks and proactively facilitate risk‑response strategies with the team
Assist with continuous improvement efforts for PM/SM processes
Understand and apply basic concepts of organizational change management
Proficient in the use of Technical Delivery Team processes, templates, and tools
Understand and track initiative business value and financials as needed with the Product Owner
Assist with continuous improvement efforts for Team & PM/SM processes
Support Problem Solving workshops to improve teams and Technical Delivery performance
Develop and manage project schedules and budgets.
Communicate project status and issues to stakeholders
Allocate resources and manage project constraints
Track and report on project milestones and deliverables
Ensure compliance with organizational project management standards
Education and Experience.
Bachelor's degree from a four‑year college or university required.
Exposure to or working with technology related initiatives preferred.
Minimum of three years' experience as a Project Manager and/or Scrum Master or equivalent related experience.
Scrum Master certification (SAFe SSM, SPC, CSM, PMI‑ACP, PMP, etc.) preferred, or ability and willingness to attain by company‑provided training.
Experience with technology/supplier selection projects and familiarity with RFI/RFP procurement process preferred.
