Pratt & Whitney in Burlington, VT is looking for a L3 Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician with an A&P license to join our growing team.
Location PW195: PW Burlington 15 Eagle Drive South, Burlington, VT 05403, USA
This role is a U.S.-based, onsite position. Candidates must be U.S. citizens as required by program and contract. The position is safety sensitive under FAA regulations; drug and alcohol testing will be required.
Key Responsibilities
Perform fluorescent penetrant, magnetic particle, and eddy current inspection methods on engine components to determine conformance to overhaul and repair manuals.
Set up, operate, maintain, repair, and remove inspection equipment.
Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements to meet customer specifications.
Troubleshoot technical problems and recommend corrective actions.
Follow all company safety rules and report unsafe acts or hazardous conditions.
Perform additional related duties as required or assigned.
Up to 25% travel.
Qualifications You Must Have
High school diploma and typically an associate degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 6 years prior NDT and/or A&P experience.
Current NDT Level 3 certification in one or more methods, or ability to obtain within 1 year.
Active A&P license.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with training, personnel testing, and auditing NDT systems.
Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing operations.
Effective communication with all levels of management and customers.
Experience with root cause analysis and process control tools.
Salary and Benefits Salary range: $53,100 – $100,900 USD.
