Opportunity WSP is searching for an Architect to work out of Arlington, VA; Washington, DC; Baltimore, MD or Durham, NC. You will be involved in projects with our
US Postal Service
Team and help our growing organization meet client objectives.
Your Impact
Perform a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard architectural techniques for small projects to large projects. Exercise independent judgement in some areas evaluating, selecting and applying standard architectural design techniques, procedures and criteria to make design adaptations and modifications.
Assist with the preparation of design documents, reports and related project documents using REVIT and other applicable software.
Complete designs for applicable projects, preparing architectural working drawings and related project documents.
Prepare project specifications, compiling and analyzing relevant data.
Conduct site and construction inspections gathering information, compiling reports for management.
May assist in development of proposals.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision‑making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You Are Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
3‑5 years of related design experience.
Familiarity with USPS requirements.
Ability to obtain a US security clearance.
The ability to travel, some internationally, to project or client sites as needed.
Proficiency with CADD and REVIT platforms and their capabilities.
Preferred Qualification
Architectural license.

Compensation Expected Salary (all locations): $85,200 – $114,699.
