Instrumentation Technician
to join our team at Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. Current secret clearance is required and only U.S. citizens may be considered.
The Instrumentation Technician will join DeVine and collaborate with the customer in moving instruments and maintaining order in the warehouse. Tasking in maintaining instruments for oceanography projects will also be required. Experience with software optimization and 3M software is a plus.
Our client executes the operational readiness of oceanographic data collection systems in support of global maritime operations. The successful hire will support preparation, maintenance, and deployment of remote maritime instruments, unmanned undersea systems, and the management of the data collected.
The new employee will provide comprehensive support functions for warehouse and logistics, and office and technical services. Warehouse and logistic services require the Instrumentation Technician to perform quality control (QC), testing, pre-deployment setup, and physical movement of oceanographic instruments and unmanned under systems. Skills required involve manual labor, forklift operation, logistics documentation, and data entry. Office and technical services require the Technician to perform instrument and unmanned undersea system repair, testing, and documentation of instrument and/or unmanned system tracking and status.

Preferred experience and qualifications
2+ years' experience with instrumentation maintenance and support required
Associate's or higher in Electronics Technology or related field preferred; 5+ years' operational experience in lieu of a degree may be considered
Experience with software maintenance desired
Experience with 3M software and wavemeters a plus
Forklift experience and certification a plus
Current secret clearance or higher required
