What do our Termite Technicians do? Termite Technicians use their expertise to protect customers’ properties from wood‑destroying organisms. As a Termite Technician you are the first line of defense in preserving and safeguarding customers’ properties. The inspections, prevention, and treatment services that you provide will create peace of mind and comfort for our customers.

Responsibilities

Identify customer’s termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps

Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices

Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions

Communicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity, discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to the treatment process

Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order

Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment

Complete production forms documenting services provided

Interact with customers and explain services provided

Essential Job Functions

Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations

Prepare the job site for treatment

Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders

Be comfortable working 20 feet up on a ladder and in small confined spaces

Possess general laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience (plus)

Ability to work on roofs and high areas

Move around regularly—sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles

Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA‑compliant respirator, and be comfortable working regularly in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways where critters live

Qualifications

Clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers must seal the face)

High school diploma or GED

Valid driver’s license from state of residence (company vehicle and gas card provided)

At least 1 year of customer service experience; experience in termite control is a plus

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Flexibility with working hours, Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed

Licenses/certificates required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)

Basic math skills—add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including fractions and decimals; follow instructions for mixing product labels

Pay Range Hourly: $20.00 - $23.00

Employees in this position perform work within customer residences, property, and places of business often unsupervised and with access to vulnerable populations.
