Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role in Fayetteville, NC for a Network IT Professional. Responsibilities include configuring, managing, and troubleshooting network hardware and software, monitoring system performance, and responding to network issues. The role involves implementing secure network solutions, supporting system integration, and ensuring compliance with relevant IT and security standards. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams to optimize systems and evaluate new technologies will be a key part of the job. Maintenance of documentation related to network infrastructure and identification of process improvements also fall under this role.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of network configuration, troubleshooting, and management, including switches, routers, and firewalls
Experience with IT security standards, network security, and implementing secure infrastructure
Proficiency in system integration, including connecting hardware and software components and enhancing compatibility
Ability to monitor system performance and address technical issues efficiently
Experience in network design and technologies, such as VPNs, LANs, and WANs
Proficiency with network‑related tools and protocols, such as TCP/IP and DHCP
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent are strongly preferred
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with effective communication and team collaboration skills
Familiarity with DoD systems and security clearance eligibility is a plus
