Learn more at www.Vishay.com.is currently seeking applicants for a **R&D Tech - Level 1 or 2****.**Job Location:This position will be on-site at the Duluth, MN facility, near Airpark blvd and Haines Road.
**What you will be doing:**- Uses schematics, diagrams, and verbal descriptions to perform testing of products and equipment.- Uses test equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test equipment in support of R&D engineering.- Build prototypes and related hardware including test fixtures, mechanical enclosures, assembly jigs and production tooling.- Production line engineering support leader – addresses equipment issues and line-down situations. - Performs qualification testing on new products.- Performs Xray analysis on space grade products.- Obeys all work rules and EHS regulations as valid for the work task(s) assigned.- Other duties as assigned**What you will bring along:**Experienced with operation of electrical engineering test equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, power supplies. Understands electrical schematics and wiring diagrams and the general characteristics of electronic components. Skilled with hand soldering, PCBA construction, and the use common shop tools. Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures.Associate degree in engineering technology from an ABET accredited college or technical school or equivalent military related training with 0-3 years of prior related experience.
