Our client, a prestigious global law firm with over a century of experience, is looking for a Restructuring Associate Attorney to join their team in New York City. The ideal candidate will be a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th-year associate, working hybrid out of their mid-town NYC location.
Known for their international reputation, the firm's Restructuring Team specializes in representing debtors, creditors, trustees, and official committees in complex restructuring matters. They offer successful advocacy in litigation, arbitration, and practical advice on business transactions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Collaborate with attorneys in the firms New York office and other locations
Focused practice on Insolvency & Restructuring
2-4 years of restructuring experience required, including representation of various parties in chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings
Deposition and trial preparation experience preferred
Strong academic/professional record, interpersonal skills, research, analysis, and writing capabilities
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution and active New York Bar admission
