Billing Supervisor - Revenue Cycle Management Department

We’re seeking an experienced Billing Supervisor to oversee day-to-day billing operations, guide our billing team, and ensure smooth, compliant revenue cycle performance. What You’ll Do
Supervise daily billing workflows, including charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, and patient billing.
Review and correct claims prior to submission to ensure compliance with payer and coding requirements.
Monitor aging reports and coordinate follow-up on unpaid or denied claims.
Ensure timely resolution of rejections, denials, and appeals.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to billing team members.
Conduct regular audits to ensure billing and payment accuracy.
Develop and maintain billing policies and standard operating procedures.
Serve as the go-to resource for complex billing questions and payer issues.
Collaborate with management and providers to optimize charge capture and reimbursement.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to reduce revenue leakage.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OIG, CMS, and payer-specific regulations.
Communicate regularly with providers, coders, and staff to resolve billing discrepancies.
Stay current with coding, billing, and reimbursement updates to keep the team informed and compliant.
What You Bring
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Certification: CPC, CPB, or equivalent credential preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years of medical billing experience, with prior supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
Proficiency with practice management and EHR systems.
Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
