As an
M&A Advisor , you’ll own and manage a book of deals that range in size from $400K to $10M+. You’ll work with owners on listing strategy, offer negotiations, deal structuring, and diligence. Our advisors service small business acquisitions with the same level of sophistication as sell‑side investment banks, while also providing a world‑class experience for owners who are likely going through their first ever exit. Responsibilities
Guide business owners through the selling process and advise on their listing strategy Qualify and pitch buyers on Baton deals Lead negotiations for dozens of business acquisitions Manage diligence processes and navigate a complex lending landscape to ensure deals cross the finish line Partner with the team to guide the product roadmap Work to grow Baton and support millions of small business owners across the US About You
You are passionate about helping people become successful small business owners and get paid for their life’s work 2+ years of investment banking or M&A advisory or similar finance experience 2+ years of professional experience at a high growth company Experience interfacing with customers and managing complex interpersonal issues Experience with financial modeling, Excel, and CRMs You happily balance the high‑level and low‑level work; you wear many hats and are hands‑on where needed to get things done; you pride yourself in being gritty You fancy yourself an expert negotiator and are excited to continue learning Benefits
