We are seeking a reliable detail‑oriented Operational Accountant to support daily financial and administrative operations for our small but fast‑growing real estate development company. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, balancing bookkeeping responsibilities with general office management tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, comfortable working in a small‑team environment, and able to handle both financial duties and day‑to‑day office needs. Experience with QuickBooks and strong administrative skills are essential.
Responsibilities
Handle daily bookkeeping activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense entry.
Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date financial records in QuickBooks.
Perform bank reconciliations and support cash‑flow tracking.
Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
Support budgeting and general financial organization.
Coordinate with external accountants for tax‑related items and year‑end preparation.
Assist leadership with organizational tasks, scheduling, and special projects as needed.
Serve as a point of contact for vendors, service providers, and visitors.
Requirements
25 years of bookkeeping, office administration, or related experience.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel required.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and support a small, fast‑paced team.
Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
Experience in real estate development or construction is helpful but not required.
