Shift and Schedule 8 hour shift
Payrate $15.00 - $16.00
We are looking for a highly talented Cake Decorator to join our team! Your responsibilities include mixing and baking cakes, and decorating them nicely. Pastry Assistant is also responsible in preparing fillings and glazing or finishing Danish. To be successful in this role, you should have work experience as a Pastry/Baker Assistant, reliable and be able to work in a fast pace environment. Job Responsibilities and/or duties
Prepare and make fresh desserts for the cold case to fill our retail stores
Planning and preparation for the weeks work load
Innovative and creativity is encouraged to create new products
Cake decoration and design
Prepare filling for savory croissant, Danish
Prepare glazes for Danish
Prepare fresh Pastries (Cakes, Napoleons, Eclairs etc.)
Prepare and bake muffins, scones and other items
Box up orders for wholesale customers
Clean kitchen equipment and tools after use
Hours
Monday-Saturday flexible
With start times as early as 4am
Shift ends around 12pm
Additional hours and shifts available if desired! / Flexible shifts/hours available
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Passion for quality food & hospitality
Team player with a friendly disposition towards a positive workplace
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Ability to work standing for 8 hours
