Position
Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient Therapy at the Riverfront, Danville, IL 61832
Overview Evaluates and treats patients of all ages, modifying plan of care as appropriate. Serves as a role model in delivery of professional services and as a clinical resource for staff and students.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) – Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days – American Heart Association (AHA)
Must attend and satisfactorily complete all required continuing education regarding the care of acute stroke patients
Responsibilities
Perform patient transfers with assistance as needed and demonstrate safe body mechanics to reduce injury risk.
Show respect by treating patients and colleagues with dignity, empathy, and full engagement.
Design and adjust an individualized plan of care based on goals, outcomes, and discharge planning.
Educate patients, families, caregivers, students, and other health professionals using effective teaching methods.
Evaluate clinical findings to determine diagnoses and outcomes of care.
Perform examinations utilizing reliable and valid methods relevant to the chief complaint, screening results, and history.
Document all care in accordance with the Clinical Process Policy (CTSCP67).
Screen patients to determine effectiveness and need for therapy services.
Use support personnel within legal and ethical standards and provide regular feedback.
Complete annual education as required for DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program when applicable.
Assess impairments related to orthopedic and neurologic conditions, establish goal‑based plans, conduct objective testing of ROM, strength, and functional tasks, and apply taping and modalities such as ultrasound, interferential, and iontophoresis.
Communicate patient progress and treatment recommendations to referring providers.

Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $34.66 per hour - $59.62 per hour, a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health.
