This role is fully remote and equipment will be provided. About the Opportunity

As part of the Subrogation team, the Subrogation Analyst‑LRU investigates multiple sources of health insurance data to identify possible accidents and/or physical injuries. Our detailed processes determine responsibility for medical and pharmacy claims allowing The Rawlings Group to represent our clients in recovering funds from at‑fault parties. They specialize in the most complex liability cases which require expert knowledge of state law, LOB preemption and negotiation strategies to maximize recoveries for the company. What you’ll do
Investigate and determine whether medical insurance claims are recoverable or non‑recoverable from a liable third party. Communicate and negotiate with healthcare plan members, insurance adjusters, and attorneys. Utilize computer systems to accurately document collected information. Apply organizational, analytical, and time‑management skills to manage daily workflow. Review and understand healthcare contracts. Create medical expense spreadsheets and process payments from recoveries. Role Requirements
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent skills and experience. Excellent customer service skills. Proficient with multi‑tasking and time‑management. Very strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Professional experience in insurance, legal, mortgage lending, customer service, or related field is preferred. What Success Looks Like…

A strong understanding of the role. Begin building relationships and collaborating with peers. Develop effective time and priority management. Receive initial feedback about performance and use it to improve. Gain confidence in your abilities and feel more comfortable in the role. After 1 year

$55,000 annual base salary with bonus opportunity based on recoveries. Total compensation can range from $70,000 – $127,000 (salary + bonus). This is an exempt position. What’s in it for you
