Senior Compensation Analyst
A large, complex U.S. organization with a significant field and corporate workforce is seeking a
Senior Compensation Analyst
to support enterprise compensation strategy and day-to-day execution. This role plays a key part in maintaining pay governance across a high-volume, multi-location environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and administer compensation programs across hourly, salaried, and field-based populations
Lead job architecture, job evaluations, and market pricing using external surveys
Partner closely with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition on offer review, pay recommendations, and leveling
Support annual compensation processes including merit, incentive, and budget planning
Conduct pay equity analyses and support audits to ensure internal equity and regulatory compliance
Ensure compliance with FLSA, wage/hour requirements, and state/local pay regulations
Develop and maintain compensation guidelines, tools, and documentation for consistent application
Prepare compensation data, reports, and insights for leadership and Finance partners
Qualifications
5–8+ years of progressive compensation experience
Demonstrated experience supporting large, distributed employee populations
Strong background in job evaluation, benchmarking, and compensation analytics
Hands‑on experience advising leaders on pay decisions and complex offers
Advanced Excel skills required; HRIS and compensation system experience strongly preferred
Retail, multi‑site, or high‑volume operating environment experience strongly preferred
