What You'll Do We are looking to hire a Senior Private Credit Analyst to support our investment grade private credit investment strategy!
Primarily, you will perform in-depth, bottom‑up fundamental research on an assigned coverage universe and make investment recommendations to the portfolio management team. You will be responsible for the initial development of company valuation models and underwriting memorandums and will have the opportunity to contribute to other facets of the team’s investment process.
Evaluate private placement transactions, both investment and non‑investment grade, and including traditional private placements, infrastructure, structuring commitments, closing transactions, managing and monitoring existing investments
Develop and maintain relationships with sources of deal flow
Identify quality businesses with above average fundamentals for a long‑term investment horizon (typically 3‑5 years)
Make long‑term investment recommendations for multiple portfolios
Monitor existing investments within the assigned sector coverage
Work with the Head of Private Credit by making buy or pass recommendations
Assist with the development of less experienced team members
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., finance, accounting, economics, statistics, engineering, data science, business analytics)
5+ years’ experience in fixed‑income strategies in trading, research, portfolio management, or strategy capacity
Investment Grade Private Credit/Private Placements underwriting experience
Proficiency with Excel and Bloomberg
Skills That Will Help You Stand Out
Experience within the infrastructure sector
MBA or CFA preferred
Exceptional financial statement analysis and accounting knowledge, with a demonstrated understanding of economics and investment theories
Strong understanding of financial accounting and economic theory, applicable laws and regulations (including international), tax and accounting trends, and implications; business operating trends and capital market conditions
Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively research, compile and analyze information, apply reasoning and exhibit sound decision‑making related to credit, risk and valuation
Strong communication (verbal and written), time‑management, analytics, financial modeling, and influencing skills
Keen sense of curiosity and an open‑minded thought process
Salary Range $157,000 – $213,000 / year
Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees. It allows employees to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal, or short‑term illness. FTO does not accrue a bank of time off, and there is no set number of days provided.
