Your New Role
Perform coatings inspections on painted structural steel members
Ensure all work meets AASHTO, NACE, and other applicable standards
Document inspections, maintain traceability, and ensure strict compliance with specs
Collaborate with painting, fabrication, and quality teams to uphold project integrity
Contribute to maintaining Fought and Company’s QP3 Certified quality systems
Work on‑site full‑time at our Tigard, Oregon facility

3 - 5 years of coatings inspection experience in a structural steel or industrial environment
AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) with NACE CIP Level II preferred
Minimum requirement: AWS CWI or CAWI with NACE CIP Level I
High school diploma or equivalent
Familiarity with QP3 environments and coating/paint inspection standards
Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Tigard, OR
