Senior Transaction Manager - High Tech Client
CBRE is seeking a Senior Transaction Manager to support the success of a leading-edge, globally recognized technology company. This role is remote, favoring East and Central time zones, and involves ongoing management of real estate transaction activities including new leases, renewals, sales, acquisitions and dispositions on behalf of the client. The client’s portfolio includes office, R&D, warehouse and some life sciences space.
What You’ll Do
Implement real estate plans aligned with the client’s strategic goals, assist with project initiation, scope definition, prioritization and adherence to client-driven priorities, commitments and milestones.
Act as a landlord or seller agent and tenant or buyer agent to negotiate business terms and conditions.
Coordinate the negotiation of sales through a field broker, including negotiating leases and lease amendments, monitoring lease expirations and negotiating lease renewals.
Locate and acquire new properties to meet the client’s requirements and timeline.
Disposition surplus space through subleasing, sales, early lease terminations, etc.
Review, evaluate and interpret financial analysis templates.
Track transaction and project activity, record savings, prepare reports and present to relevant parties.
Maintain a real estate project tracking system to ensure timely transaction completion and present findings to stakeholders.
Improve and change existing methods, processes and standards; understand the broader impact across the department.
Lead by example, model CBRE RISE values, influence parties to reach agreement.
Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues within systems and processes.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree preferred with 8-10 years of real estate transactions or related experience; in lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Real Estate salesperson license required.
Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
Leadership skills to motivate team and impact quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the job subject area and department.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive approach.
Sophisticated math skills, ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions and other financial-related calculations.

Compensation The minimum salary for the Senior Transaction Manager position is $140,000 annually ($67.31 per hour) and the maximum salary is $180,000 annually ($86.54 per hour). The compensation will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
