Job Description Location: Sioux Falls, SD
Shift: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm (including one Saturday per month)

About The Role Assist Retail Bankers and Managers with sales and servicing activities. Provide support to all areas of the Branch, including lobby assistance, to sell and originate personal loan and deposit accounts.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
Open deposit accounts, renew certificates of deposit, and originate Easy Access lines of credit.
Emphasize the onboarding process to cross‑sell products and services at account opening.
Cross‑sell additional bank services and refer prospects to Personal Bankers and other departments within the bank.
Open, close, and maintain safe deposit boxes.
Perform consumer loan processing tasks; obtain financial information for consumer loan applications and gather other supporting financial information.
Complete service events to update customer information.
Handle customer inquiries for information and assist with resolving fraud, disputes, etc.
Assist and support any call program activities.
Understand all regulatory expectations and changes as they relate to bank deposits and lending.
Prepare loan documents, board loans, process disbursements, ensure all regulatory concerns are addressed, prepare and send completed loan file to Loan Servicing.
Notarize documents.
Perform other receptionist duties as needed; professionally administer telephone calls, greet and direct bank customers and visitors.
Independently prepare, complete, review and take action on weekly, bi‑weekly and monthly reports as needed.
Maintain full understanding of bank products and their value/benefits to customers.
Thorough understanding of account and loan opening platforms and other applications within the core system.
Participate in community events to create brand awareness.
Meet goals as assigned, keeping personal and branch objectives in mind.
Provide quality customer service with accuracy, efficiency and confidentiality.
Able to successfully handle higher approval authority.
Able to underwrite small, non‑complicated loans, including:
Complete detailed applications.
Understand credit bureau reports.
Complete underwriting.
Make loan decisions, upsell and cross‑sell other products.
Execute loan documents and close.
Knowledge of IRA’s.
Able to process and service business loan requests.
Possess thorough knowledge of real estate procedures, underwriting, and processing.
Assist in training new PBA’s.
Expand existing relationships through direct customer contact and outbound sales calls.
Establish a successful referral network to grow new customers.
Make outside sales calls to current and prospective customers to seek out new opportunities to provide additional bank products and services.
Have a working knowledge of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act and be able to successfully manage delinquent accounts.
Skills And Qualifications
Must possess working knowledge of retail banking processes and procedures.
Combination of education/experience that enables the incumbent to meet essential functions and required competencies of the position.
Needs appropriate licenses for ancillary products.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in the English language.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to concentrate and work independently.
Attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Capacity to learn, adapt to change, and become proficient quickly.
Ability to handle stress, exercise self‑control, adhere to company policies and procedures, and uphold the PREMIER Way.
