Job Summary The Strategic Procurement & Planning Division is looking for a Lead Data Specialist located in Mossville, Illinois.
This role owns the management of key US‑based tools and data platforms, ensuring business requirements are met through data collection, supplier collaboration, and analytics to drive impactful decisions.
What You Will Do
Support the management and business process improvement of the Enterprise Procurement Data Platform (EPDP) and Supply Chain Data Platform (SCDP).
Create and maintain effective data governance policies to ensure quality and security across the business.
Develop, implement, and support digital capabilities for the Strategic Procurement & Planning Division.
Collaborate with colleagues, customers, and suppliers at all levels.
Demonstrate advanced project‑management skills to collect, compile, assimilate, communicate, and maintain information across multiple projects.
Assess and recommend solutions related to procurement and supply‑chain processes.
Perform analytical and administrative tasks supporting Strategic Procurement Division initiatives.
Act as leader or SME, developing new systems and tools and retiring outdated ones as part of the strategic roadmap.
Lead the creation and management of visualizations, documentation, and presentations to support data quality processes.
Education Requirement Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in or related to Advanced Analytics, computer science, data analytics, engineering, finance, business administration, or statistics.
Key Skills
Collaborate with data engineers and architects to optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Ensure data quality and consistency across cloud and hybrid environments using tools such as AWS, Qlik, Snaplogic, and Power BI.
Translate complex data models, analytics results, and technical architecture into clear, actionable insights for business and technical stakeholders.
Create visualizations, documentation, and presentations to support ongoing data quality and monitoring.
Lead cross‑functional meetings and workshops to align data initiatives with business goals and improve data literacy.
Build and manage data lakes, warehouses, and streaming platforms to support advanced analytics and machine learning.
Support cloud‑based security, compliance, and monitoring practices to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
Top Candidates Will Also Have
Familiarity with basic procurement and supply‑chain principles, procedures, and techniques.
Knowledge and expertise in enterprise systems such as EPDP, SCDP, CLIDB, QNET, SCDW, ASC, MRC, NPE, LOGNET, EDOF, Tableau, DVT, EPIX, PSI, PROcure.
Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
Experience with data modeling principles (conceptual, logical, physical) and Data Vault modeling.
Knowledge of data mapping, integration, and transformation to a data warehouse.
Demonstrated ability to dive into detail, synthesize ideas, and propose solutions.
