Red River Technology is actively seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in supporting a mission-critical program for the Navy. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the success of a crucial initiative that directly enhances national operational readiness across the entire US Naval Fleet.The Senior Systems Engineer will work with the program team to install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems applications across various DoD client sites in support of a flagship integrated combat system for the Navy. As a Senior Systems Engineer you will collaborate and work closely with our Data Center Engineering and Infrastructure team to create and install software and assist with coding, testing, system reviews, and compiling scripts. You will also work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deploy, maintain, and ensure successful software operation at satellite facilities to meet program requirements.**Key Responsibilities:****Qualifications:**Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field or applicable work experience.
5 years of Systems Engineer experience within the Department of Defense (DoD).Field deployment experience, with the ability to travel up to 25% of the time to perform on-site installation and configurations.
Demonstrated experience in Cisco technical environmentsDemonstrated experience with VMwareDemonstrated knowledge of Data Center Infrastructure from both a hardware and software perspective.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to relate to and understand customer needs in order to build relationships and drive customer success. Excellent communication, computer, and analytical skills. **Desired Certifications and Skills:**
Experience with network monitoring tools such as WTI, or RoomAlertAs a Senior System Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between software development and operations by providing a seamless transition from coding to real world use in mission critical data centers supporting the Department of Defense. You will work in a collaborative and dynamic environment, interacting with various stakeholders to deploy software applications and updates ensuring they function properly at satellite facilities.
