Advisor IT, Industrial Control Systems

within our

Industrial Controls

group based in

Midland, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

Perform as a member of the onsite Stratos Plant Automation team following OXY standards and guidelines.

Provide automation project leadership and day‑to‑day automation support for the Direct Air Capture Plant (Stratos).

Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with onsite plant manager and operations team.

Understand business priorities, challenges and provide solutions to their problems in the automation area.

Develop a good understanding of the IT organization, customer focused support model, and develop strong relationships with relevant IT Teams.

Partner with the business to roll out new technologies, applications, and tools that will positively improve the plant operations.

Troubleshoot problem areas in a timely manner ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the cycle of support, providing end‑user assistance where required.

Log and track all incidents and service requests into company provided tools.
