Database Engineer with Cloud Migration Experience - Remote
This is a 100% Remote role.
Prior experience of migrating from Oracle R12 DHW (on premise/cloud) to Aurora PostgreSQL using Ora2PG, AWS SCT, and AWS DMS tools
Expert in writing DB queries, procedures, and functions
Excellent analytical and debugging skills with SQL and PL/SQL
Experience with data quality, security, and governance
Strong in PostgreSQL database performance analysis and SQL/pgSQL performance tuning
Experience developing automation and using open‑source tools
Responsibilities
Responsible for end‑to‑end data migration and data modelling in PostgreSQL
Owning the quality of the migrated data and the validity of the migration processes and operations
Explore and assess the source before migrating data, define, design, and build the migration solution
