JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war‑fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
Job Summary Employee will be responsible for the following functions/duties:
Build, configure, secure, maintain and manage LINUX and UNIX operating systems on enterprise computer servers and clients.
Ensure hardware and software compatibility; install and manage third‑party tools.
Maintain Red Hat, Windows based server environments, storage systems and application installations.
Work with scripting and automation (C‑Shell, bash, Perl, PowerShell, or Python).
Administer RHEL OS 7/8/9 and Windows Server 2022.
Operate MS Windows Server software, including system security, access, configuration and backups.
Specify network requirements, monitor LAN performance, troubleshoot networking hardware and ensure systems operate according to specifications.
Organize and secure directory structure and train staff in its use.
Manage Document Management (DM) System, associated databases and Configuration Management (CM)/DM release procedures.
Design functional, visually aesthetic web pages.
Specify hardware requirements and maintain equipment tracking logs (CA/CRL).
Act as point of contact for problem reporting, version updates and yearly support contract monitoring.
Recommend future hardware/software implementations; schedule, plan and perform system upgrades across design, test, production and documentation environments.
Provide operational status updates as required.
Apply established policies and procedures while completing complex assignments with originality and independent contribution.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with system administration on RHEL and Windows Server on Dell platforms.
Proficient in deploying, configuring, securing, maintaining and updating servers.
Strong scripting skills (C‑Shell, bash, Perl, PowerShell, or Python) and knowledge of DNS, NFS, DHCP.
Requirements – Education, Technical, and Work Experience Associates or higher degree in Computer/Information Technology, or equivalent academic/technical training. Must possess seven years related experience or a combination of experience in computer system basics and related areas of expertise. Must have broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in computer science, graphics, and information systems.
Extensive experience in MS Windows Server environments and various computer‑aided design / computer‑aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM), database, MS Office and web‑enabled applications.
Strong planning/organizing skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Capability to cross‑field and handle varied assignments.
Ability to update or repair computer systems.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Must possess a valid, state‑issued driver's license.
Salary The expected salary range for this position is $72,800 to $99,840 annually.

Other Responsibilities Will be asked to make functional the initiatives established by management and will coordinate with other organizations as affected by upgrades, capabilities, policy and procedures. Each employee must read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to their job.
Working Conditions This position involves work typical of an office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing, and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness.
