Job Description Provide advanced ECG monitoring by observing for arrhythmia interpretation, life‑threatening dysrhythmias, and rate/rhythm changes for patients on continuous telemetry. Responsible for monitoring multiple patients simultaneously. Communicate changes in a timely manner using calm and succinct communication strategies. Facilitate removal of telemetry for patients when orders expire.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
Experience: EKG or related healthcare experience (Preferred).
Skills: Typing and computer skills; Good interpersonal communication.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS within 90 days of hire (Required); Successful completion of required telemetry interpretation courses within 90 days of hire.
